La Mirada head coach Mike Moschetti was nominated for the ALS ice bucket challenge, which has been sweeping the nation and accepted in style. Moschetti was named by Tesoro head coach Matt Poston.
Moschetti accepted the challenge on Saturday with the help of his Matadores. The program also donated $200 dollars to the ALS Association. Moschetti went on to nominate La Mirada alumni in softball great Jennie Finch, NBA player Derrick Williams and La Mirada head baseball coach Jimmy Zurn.
